Judges

Judges are selected from across the NHS and wider healthcare sector. Judges contribute valuable time and effort to work through hundreds of entries, reviewing against strict criteria and attributing scores against a transparent system aimed at rewarding and recognising the best of UK Healthcare. Our judging takes place over three stages. Please have a look at the table below for the relevant dates of each stage. Please note if you are chosen as a finalist by our judges in the first two stages you will need to attend a live presentation to our judging panel at stage 3. The final dates per category will be published soon.

25 June – 23 July

STAGE 1 JUDGING - Our panel of judges will review all the entries and will have 4 weeks to score each entry. At the end of the process a long list will be created based on scores and forwarded to the next round.

15 August

STAGE 2 JUDGING - Over the course of a couple of days our panel of your peers will review the long list of entries, first stage scores and comments and record further feedback.

3 September

Announcement of the HSJ Awards finalists.

8 October – 19 October

STAGE 3 JUDGING - Finalist presentations to our live judging panels, please reference your categories and ensure you are free all day on those relevant days.

21 November

Awards Ceremony at the Intercontinental Hotel, The O2, London

3 December - 7 December

Feedback provided to all participants
